- Latte & a Little Girl
I feel like a small big kid placing lines and strokes on paper, carefully adding colours. It’s a drawing of an imaginary girl, way too small in proportion to Latte. Well, I was never swell in art. But, maybe this is how kids feel sometimes – that they’re awfully smaller than they are. I do hope we will never have our little missy feeling that way, ever.
If this continues, when our girl is of age – daddy and mummy can hand to her a picture book of sorts. I’m trying to I’ve cajoled the missus into penning prose for the pictures. “From the daddy’s eyes.” How apt. I’m sure she’ll enjoy, our joint project, one of many.

Wow this is impressive! Water colours?
Thanks! Yup, it’s watercolours
never knew you had such a talent! keep going at it…i’m intrigued
I like that latte is much bigger. To me, when i see this illustration, it’s not so much that the little girl feels smaller. Latte looks like he’s protecting her…and she is small enough to ride on his back to go on adventures!
Way to go Daddy Auyong! And I have to agree with maybebabe – this totally looks like the start of the amazing adventures of lil’ MissyRaeann and her loyal Latte. Keep it going!
O… I must qualify, I use colour pencils that can be ‘water-coloured’. :p
maybebabe: Thanks ah! Talent? No lah… So many more other ppl with amazing talent. Nice interpretation, didn’t think of it.
cyn: Thank you!
